Singapore’s Minister for Trade and Industry Mr Chan Chun Sing participated in a dialogue session which was moderated by Mr Chia Kim Huat, Regional Head of Corporate & Transactional Practice, Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP.

Minister of Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing once said on Sept 30 “Once the global economy starts to be fragmented, including in capital markets and technology, countries will be in for a lower trajectory of growth”
Integrating different countries may look intimidating due to the various logistics stakeholders, but once we have a common platform connecting these stakeholders, connecting different countries may be a piece of cake.

Another interesting view from Dr Robert Yap, he urged the ASEAN business community to take a holistic approach in the development of its digital capabilities. He said, “Developing digital business capabilities goes beyond having the latest hardware. Software capability, in terms of human empowerment and development, as well as heartware readiness, in terms of mindset across the company, are equally important factors to be developed.”
