OCBC Property Services Private Limited (OPS) was formed in 1987 to centralise the property management functions of the OCBC Group, which holds a large portfolio of property assets in office, residential and retail for own occupation and investment.
As part of an ongoing process to renew its’ internal systems using Microsoft .net technologies, OPS engaged KEYfields to re-program its Property Valuation System(PVS). According to Alex Chong, OPS’ Head of IT, “We were looking for a strong and trusted partner that was able to convert our legacy Paradox system to Microsoft .net platform. The important reasons for the choice of KEYfields’ are their consultants’ professional approach coupled with a standard project methodology to deliver the right solution at the right time. With the PVS successfully launched, we decided to engage KEYfields to convert all the remaining legacy systems”.
“Companies are no longer constrained by the inadequacy of technology,” said Kenny Tan, General Manager of KEYfields. “Now OPS is in a position where technology is ahead of business, and this puts employees in a very strong position. Now it is all about imagination and belief, and it is the forward-thinking companies that will continue to evolve, with the technology working itself around their dreams and ambitions.”
