2020 is a year that will go down in history as the most lockdowns for countries, economies and people. Not only are people being lockdown at home; business, social and religious activities are also lockdowns in one form or another. Governments, businesses and people have since re-tuned their strategies, budgets and operating modes to stay afloat and minimize losses.

Moving ahead, our ways of life and the ways businesses conduct are not going to revert back to the pre-COVID days. Mask and hand sanitizer and perhaps certain degrees of restrictive freedom for example will be part of our daily life while e-signatory, e-payment and e-meeting will be the norm to do business. Mobile devices for people and software application for businesses are going to be the necessities. Business owners know that they have to digitalize in order to keep the business and operations going during the lockdowns. Businesses that are technologically equipped, are likely to continue their journey post-COVID.

This year despite the lockdowns, we are glad that KEYfields has a great year. It is attributed first to businesses rushing to digitalise so that their backend office staff can access and work from home. More importantly, we have a suite of stable, proven and matured solutions that are can be readily adopted. Even in our overseas subsidiaries, we have seen an increase in sales and enquiries.
