Incorporated in 2000, Oceano Electrical Trading Pte Ltd(“Oceano”) has evolved into an integral player specializing in the supply of electrical appliances, galley, laundry equipments and hospitality supplies.

Oceano selected KEYfields’ Warehouse Management System(iWMS) to manage its huge inventories, to improve inventory accuracy and to optimize warehousing operations. It occupies three level of storage space at Oceano building in Sungei Kadut.

iWMS project encompasses automating all activities in the warehouses from inbound to outbound, barcode scanning, inventory management and interface to accounting system.

“When the company moves to its current location with a much bigger storage space, the manual operations become a bottleneck. A system is needed to automate these processes to reduce the reliance on people and paper and to improve efficiency, traceability and productivity.
