The Dashboard system shall allow its management and key managers in Asia Pacific to have instant and direct access to its Sales,
Inventory and Receivables information. This information will be extracted from its ERP system, ASW and download to the Dashboard system.
After evaluating a few solutions, Ciba Vision selected KEYfields’ iDAC solution. The iDAC is a web-based DASHBOARD system that allows Sales, Inventory Balances and Receivable ageing information to be viewed and analyzed. It allows the management to have a bird’s eye view of the requested key performance indicators. The Graphlets can be viewed instantly using a web browser or automatically generated at scheduled timing to be email out to designated personnel at regular intervals.”The evaluation criteria of a Dashboard system has to be ease of use and information display in graphical representations for analysis purpose. This allows easy comparisons of Sales results in terms of Markets, Business Franchise, and Customers and at the same time have a view of inventory balances as well as Receivables ageing.
